- Using free Multi Tracker software, also available from Song Galaxy, you can remove instruments or vocals you want to play yourself, adjust the mix, create a mono mix with click track for drummers, and much more. Load in the multi track (.mtf audio format) to the software, then edit and personalize each instrument. Then once you've got the perfect backing track, save the end product as a .wav file. Also for use with audio sequencers like Cubase, Sonar, Pro Tools etc.
This new audio format from Song Galaxy will revolutionize the concept of backing tracks for musicians and singers, giving you the flexibility to produce your own personalised backing tracks. Using free Multi Tracker software, also available from Song Galaxy, you can remove instruments or vocals you want to play yourself, adjust the mix, create a mono mix with click track for drummers, and much more. Load in the multi track (.mtf audio format) to the software, then edit and personalize each instrument. Over the years Song Galaxy has received numerous requests from customers, asking if we could produce certain backing tracks without guitar, or without bass, etc, as they want to play these instruments themselves. And we also know that each customer has different preferences when purchasing backing tracks. However, up until now, the only Multi Track software available has been for recording multi track files.
Therefore, Song Galaxy is proud to introduce new Multi Tracker software. This flexible and easy-to-use program separates special multi track files (.mtf audio format) into up to 16 individual tracks with each instrument or instrument group on a separate track. This gives you the freedom to adjust exact levels of each individual track, or mute instruments or vocals you want to play yourself.
Extra features include: a Master Limiter to boost the overall level of the entire track; a Count In track option so that you always know when to start playing even when you have muted other tracks; a Click Track if your band uses a live drummer -= you have the option to create a mono mix of the instruments on one side and the click track on the other as is usual for this type of mix; and a Solo button for each track.
Multi Tracker and multi track files are also fully Vista compatible. A Mac OSX converter tool is also available.
