NewJeans changes social media handles and deletes posts after court ruling

NewJeans' sub-unit NJZ, consisting of members Hyein and Danielle, has changed their social media handles and deleted all posts following a court ruling in favor of the original owner of the "NJZ" trademark. The court determined that ADOR, NewJeans' agency, had infringed on the trademark, leading to the rebranding of the sub-unit to "NewJeans Hyein & Danielle." This change was implemented across their official Instagram and YouTube channels, with all previous content being removed. The decision came after the trademark owner, who had registered "NJZ" in 2022, filed a lawsuit against ADOR for using the name without permission.
