  The developers behind Kansas City's Rock Island Bridge announced this week the addition of a restaurant called "River House."

The Rock Island Bridge, a historic structure spanning the Kansas River between Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri, has announced its first tenant, Uncharted, a local creative agency. Uncharted will occupy a 5,000-square-foot space on the bridge, which is being transformed into a mixed-use development featuring offices, restaurants, and event spaces. The bridge, originally built in 1905, closed to rail traffic in 1980 and has been undergoing a multi-year renovation to become a vibrant community hub. The addition of Uncharted marks a significant step in the bridge's revitalization, with more tenants expected to be announced in the coming months.
