Forest Park police searching for missing father, aspiring TikTok star

Forest Park Police are currently searching for 23-year-old J'Asiah Mitchell, who was reported missing after his father, Artavious North, claimed he was kidnapped during a carjacking. The incident reportedly occurred on August 16, 2023, when North stated that his car was stolen with J'Asiah inside. However, discrepancies in North's story have led police to question its validity. J'Asiah, an aspiring TikToker known for his dance videos, was last seen at his home in the 4600 block of Bartlett Road. The police have been unable to verify the carjacking and are now focusing on locating both J'Asiah and his father, who has not been cooperative with the investigation. The community and J'Asiah's family are deeply concerned, and a search is underway to find the young boy.
