  • Series two promises to be back tougher and more powerful than ever and will not only see the long-awaited return of the legendary Atlaspheres and introduction to brand-new event, Unleash, but two brand new Gladiators will be entering the arena during the series and are ready to put up a fight.

The BBC has announced the renewal of the popular reboot of "Gladiators" for a second series in 2025, following its successful return which attracted over 8 million viewers. The show, which originally aired in the 90s, features contestants competing against each other and a group of elite athletes known as Gladiators in various physical challenges. The new series will continue to be hosted by Bradley Walsh and his son Barney Walsh, with filming set to take place at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield. The show's revival has been praised for its blend of nostalgia and modern appeal, maintaining the essence of the original while introducing new elements to engage contemporary audiences.
