Nyamlori, who was in his 40s, first sat for the KCPE in 1995 and continued to take the exam annually, each time hoping to improve his scores to gain admission into a secondary school. Despite his persistent efforts, he was unable to achieve the marks needed for his dream. His story captured the hearts of many Kenyans, leading to public support and even a scholarship offer from a well-wisher. However, his health deteriorated due to cancer, and he succumbed to the illness. His determination and spirit were celebrated by many, leaving behind a legacy of perseverance and hope.
