A bill proposed in Pennsylvania aims to establish a state media literacy program to combat misinformation and enhance critical thinking among students. The legislation, introduced by state Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, would require the state's Department of Education to develop a curriculum focused on teaching students how to identify credible sources, understand media bias, and navigate the digital information landscape effectively.
