New Orleans jail escapee who is still at large posts videos on social media

A man who identifies himself as a New Orleans jail escapee released videos on social media while still on the run from authorities.

Richard Parker, who escaped from a New Orleans jail on July 27, 2023, remains at large and has been posting videos on social media, including one where he is seen riding a bicycle and taunting authorities. Parker, who was initially arrested for illegally possessing a firearm, escaped during a work detail and has since been the subject of a manhunt by the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office. In the videos, he mocks the police and expresses no intention of turning himself in, while also claiming to be armed. The Sheriff's Office has warned the public not to approach Parker and to call 911 if he is spotted, as he is considered dangerous.
