Indoor golf and entertainment center proposed for Grand Rapids course

  • The city of Grand Rapids is considering a plan to build an indoor golf and entertainment venue at the Indian Trails Golf Course.

An indoor golf and entertainment center is proposed for development in the Village of DeForest, Wisconsin, on a 10-acre site at the intersection of Highway V and Pederson Crossing Boulevard. The facility, to be operated by the national chain X-Golf, will feature eight golf simulators, a restaurant, and a bar, aiming to provide a family-friendly environment. The project, which is expected to create 25 to 30 jobs, is currently in the early planning stages with the developers seeking approval from the village's Plan Commission and Village Board. If approved, construction could begin in the spring of 2024, with an opening targeted for late 2024 or early 2025.
