Vet Jam Music Festival Expands to Bradford Fairgrounds
Locale: UNITED STATES

BRADFORD, NY - Vet Jam, the beloved music festival with a heart, is set to return to Bradford, New York, on April 25th & 26th, 2026, and this year it's scaling up in a big way. After years of steadily growing popularity, the festival has officially moved to the expansive Bradford Fairgrounds, offering attendees significantly more space, upgraded amenities, and a broadened range of entertainment. This move signals not only the festival's success but also its commitment to enhancing the experience for veterans, their families, and the entire Bradford community.
Vet Jam isn't just another music festival; it's a deeply rooted initiative dedicated to honoring and supporting veterans and the crucial charities that serve them. From its inception, the festival has interwoven high-quality musical performances with a profound sense of gratitude and purpose. This year's lineup boasts a diverse array of talent, featuring headliners The Rusty Buckets, a nationally renowned blues band, alongside rising country star Savannah Stone, and the folk harmonies of The Wandering Willows. Supporting acts include local favorites, The Bradford Blues Brothers, and the energetic rock of 'Redline', ensuring a musical experience that appeals to all tastes. A full schedule will be released on the festival website next week.
The expansion to the Bradford Fairgrounds is a game-changer. Previously held at Miller's Meadow, the festival consistently faced space limitations, leading to crowded conditions and restricting the potential for additional activities. The Fairgrounds offer ample parking, dedicated camping areas, and significantly more room for vendors, food trucks, and family-friendly zones. Organizers anticipate an attendance of over 10,000 people this year, a considerable increase from previous years.
"We are incredibly excited about the move to the Fairgrounds," says Amelia Hayes, Lead Organizer for Vet Jam. "It allows us to really create the festival experience we've always envisioned - one that's comfortable, accessible, and packed with entertainment for everyone. More importantly, the increased capacity means we can raise even more funds for veteran charities." Hayes further emphasized the festival's commitment to partnering with local organizations like the Bradford Veteran's Assistance Center and the 'Homes for Heroes' initiative. A percentage of every ticket sale, and a significant portion of vendor fees, will be directly donated to these worthy causes.
Beyond the music, Vet Jam continues to prioritize a family-friendly atmosphere. A dedicated "Kids Zone" will feature face painting, inflatable bounce houses, interactive games, and a petting zoo. Food vendors will offer a wide variety of options, from classic festival fare like hot dogs and hamburgers to healthier choices and locally sourced treats. Craft booths will showcase the work of artisans and local businesses, providing attendees with unique shopping opportunities. New this year is a dedicated veteran's resource area where veterans can connect with representatives from various support organizations and learn about available benefits.
The Bradford community has been instrumental in Vet Jam's success, and organizers are actively seeking volunteers to help with various tasks, including event setup, ticketing, security, and cleanup. Donations of time, goods, and services are also greatly appreciated. Local businesses are encouraged to participate as vendors or sponsors.
