  • CNN is shaking up its TV lineup as it grapples with ratings downturns and costs. Jake Tapper, Audie Cornish, Kasie Hunt and others get new duties

CNN is undergoing a significant overhaul of its television lineup, introducing new shows and reshuffling its anchor team to boost ratings and adapt to the evolving media landscape. Jake Tapper will now anchor a two-hour block from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET, while Kasie Hunt takes over the 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. slot with "Early Start." Wolf Blitzer will continue with "The Situation Room" from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET. The network is also bringing in fresh faces like Audie Cornish, who will host a new show at 10 p.m. ET, and Rahel Solomon, who will anchor "CNN Newsroom" at 11 a.m. ET.
