  • The civil complaint, initially filed against Combs, 55, in the Southern District of New York in October, now includes Carter, 55, as a co-defendant.

A lawsuit filed in New York accuses hip-hop moguls Jay-Z and Sean "Diddy" Combs of raping a 13-year-old girl in 1995. The plaintiff, identified only as Jane Doe, alleges that the assault occurred at a recording studio where she was invited by Combs. According to the lawsuit, Combs allegedly drugged and raped her, and then Jay-Z joined in the assault. The suit also names Bad Boy Entertainment, Arista Records, and Sony Music as defendants, claiming they enabled the environment where the abuse took place. The plaintiff is seeking unspecified damages for the trauma she endured, which she says has had long-lasting effects on her life. Representatives for Jay-Z and Combs have not yet responded to requests for comment on the allegations.
