TV's Richard Osman has apologised for previously defending Gregg Wallace. Author and former Pointless star Richard, 54, says he is sorry after he 'stuck up' for the Masterchef host.

Richard Osman, a well-known TV presenter, issued an apology for previously defending his former colleague, Russell Brand, after allegations of sexual assault emerged against Brand. Osman had initially vouched for Brand's character based on their time working together on the Big Brother's Big Mouth show in 2006. However, following the serious accusations made by four women in a joint investigation by The Times, The Sunday Times, and Channel 4's Dispatches, Osman expressed regret for his earlier comments, acknowledging that he was unaware of the alleged incidents at the time. He emphasized the importance of believing and supporting victims of sexual assault, stating that the allegations against Brand were "horrific" and that he felt "terrible" for having defended him.
