  • Trans-woman influencer Emily James has gone viral on social media because she has spent Rs 14 lacs to remove six ribs as she wants to make a crown out of her bones. She said, "In three days, I'm getting three ribs removed on each side." Jokingly she added, "I'm going to have an Emily barbeque."

Emily James, a transgender woman and social media influencer, has undergone a series of surgeries to achieve a more feminine physique, including the removal of six ribs at a cost of approximately Rs 14 lakh. In an interview with the Daily Star, she expressed her ongoing commitment to body modification, stating that she plans to have three more ribs removed in the near future. Emily, who has been documenting her transition journey on social media, has also had other procedures like a Brazilian Butt Lift and liposuction. Her decision to alter her body so extensively has sparked a mix of admiration and concern among her followers, with some praising her for embracing her identity, while others worry about the health implications of such drastic surgeries.
