Baldoni alleges that after he developed the project with Murphy, who was initially set to direct, Murphy backed out and has since been unresponsive. The lawsuit claims that Murphy's actions have caused significant delays and financial losses for Baldoni, who is seeking damages for breach of contract and other related claims. The project, which was to focus on a man dealing with his mother's terminal illness, has been stalled, and Baldoni is now looking to move forward with or without Murphy's involvement.
