Monalisa Bhosle, a 16-year-old from Madhya Pradesh who gained fame at the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, has signed on to star in the film The Diary of Manipur. The film, directed by Sanoj Mishra, is set to begin production in February.

Monalisa, who gained fame as the "Maha Kumbh's viral girl" for her role in the TV show "Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasya, Ek Kahani," is set to make her Bollywood debut. She has been cast in the upcoming film "Bailando," directed by Pradeep Sarkar, known for his work on "Parineeta" and "Mardaani." The film, which also stars Anjali Sharma, is described as a dance drama and is currently in production. Monalisa's transition from television to Bollywood marks a significant step in her career, following her notable presence in the Bhojpuri film industry and reality TV shows.
