Apoorva Mukhija's event in Udaipur was abruptly canceled following protests by the Karni Sena, a Rajput community group, who objected to her alleged disrespectful comments about the Rajput community. The event, scheduled for May 20, 2024, at a hotel in Udaipur, was part of her tour promoting her book "The Royal Rajputani." The Karni Sena's protest was in response to Mukhija's social media posts and statements that they deemed offensive. The hotel management decided to cancel the event to avoid any potential law and order issues, and Mukhija expressed her disappointment over the cancellation, stating her intention was to celebrate Rajput culture, not to offend.
