Z" Carter of sexually assaulting a then-13-year-old girl was dismissed Friday, according to a new court filing.

The civil case accusing Jay-Z and Diddy of rape, which was filed by a woman named Jane Roe, has been dismissed. The lawsuit, which also named former Bad Boy Records president Harve Pierre and an unnamed third person, alleged that the assault occurred in 1999 when Roe was 17 years old. The dismissal came after Roe's attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, requested to withdraw from the case, citing that Roe had not been in contact with him for several months and had not responded to his attempts to reach her. Consequently, Judge Richard G. Stearns dismissed the case without prejudice, meaning it could potentially be refiled. The decision was influenced by Roe's lack of communication and participation in the legal proceedings.
