Tina Smith Calls Out Mike Lee's Rancid Social Media Posts

In a recent exchange on social media, U.S. Senator Tina Smith (D-MN) criticized Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) for his stance on abortion rights, particularly in light of a Texas judge's ruling that could potentially ban the abortion pill mifepristone nationwide. Smith accused Lee of hypocrisy, pointing out that he supports government intervention in personal medical decisions while advocating for limited government in other areas. She highlighted the contradiction in Lee's position by referencing his past statements and actions, such as his support for overturning Roe v. Wade and his opposition to government mandates, arguing that his views on abortion demonstrate a selective application of his principles.
