The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State has dismissed a social media report claiming the creation of a new interim executive committee for the party. The PDP's publicity secretary, Collins Opurozor, labeled the report as false and misleading, emphasizing that the party's executive committee, led by Charles Ugwu, remains intact and will continue to function until its tenure ends in 2025. Opurozor urged party members and the public to disregard the report and warned those spreading false information to stop, as it could cause unnecessary tension within the party.
