Times Wins Multiple L.A. Press Club National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Awards

  • The awards, which were presented at a ceremony on Dec. 1 in downtown L.A., recognize the finest work from U.S.-based entertainment reporters and editors, as well as theater, film and television critics across all media.

The Los Angeles Times has been honored with multiple National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards for its outstanding coverage in various categories. The newspaper secured first place in the Best Arts & Entertainment Journalist category for the work of its staff, and also won first place for Best Entertainment Feature for the article "The secret life of a Hollywood sex worker" by Amy Kaufman. Additionally, the Times took home first place for Best Arts & Entertainment Commentary for Carolina A. Miranda's piece "The art of the L.A. Times." The awards, which recognize excellence in arts and entertainment journalism, were announced on December 2, 2024, highlighting the Times' commitment to in-depth, insightful, and impactful reporting in the cultural sector.
