  • U.K. genre specialist distributor has sold "The Witch Game," an Argentine "Harry Potter" inspired horror feature from director Fabian Forte, to Miracle Media in North America and the U.K. The supernatural thriller will be released in the territories in the first quarter of 2025.

"The Witch Game," an Argentine horror film inspired by the Harry Potter series, has been acquired by Miracle Media International for distribution in North America and the U.K. The film, which was originally released in 2022, has been dubbed into English using AI technology to enhance its reach. Directed by Silvio Guzmán, the movie follows a group of friends who, after playing a mysterious board game, find themselves trapped in a nightmarish scenario where they must confront their deepest fears. The film's unique blend of horror with elements reminiscent of the magical world of Harry Potter has caught the attention of international distributors, leading to this strategic acquisition aimed at tapping into the global market's appetite for genre-blending films.
