The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, set to take place in Prayagraj, is anticipated to be a grand event with an estimated budget of Rs 6,300 crore. The event, which is expected to attract around 40 crore devotees, will feature an amusement zone and food court, the rights for which have been awarded to Kanpur-based firm Kanha Shyam Tourism. This firm will manage these facilities over an area of 10,000 square meters, aiming to provide entertainment and refreshment options for the pilgrims. The Mela, occurring every 12 years, is not only a significant religious gathering but also a major logistical and infrastructural challenge for the state of Uttar Pradesh.
