The National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) has launched The State of Live, an economic research study of independent live entertainment.

Jody Gerson, the chairman and CEO of Universal Music Publishing Group, has joined the board of directors for Project Healthy Minds, a non-profit organization focused on expanding access to mental health resources.
