Sean "Diddy" Combs has filed a $100 million lawsuit against NBCUniversal and its streaming service Peacock, alleging that they aired a documentary titled "The Downfall of Diddy" which he claims contains "false and defamatory statements" about him. The lawsuit, filed in New York Supreme Court, accuses the network of using uncorroborated and unverified sources, and suggests that the documentary was motivated by revenge after Combs withdrew from a reality show project with the network. Combs' legal team argues that the documentary has caused significant damage to his reputation and business interests. The suit also names the production company, Asylum Entertainment, and its parent company, claiming they failed to adhere to journalistic standards. NBCUniversal has not yet responded to the lawsuit.
