Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has been booked by the police for allegedly consuming alcohol near the sacred Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. The incident reportedly took place on May 15, 2024, when Orry was visiting the shrine. According to reports, he was found with a bottle of alcohol in a restricted area, which is against the rules set by the shrine board to maintain the sanctity of the pilgrimage site. The police have initiated an investigation following a complaint from the shrine's management, and further legal action is expected. This event has sparked discussions on social media about the enforcement of rules at religious sites and the behavior of public figures.
