  • The country star previously expressed regret over the incident, saying, "I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility."

Morgan Wallen, a country music star, has been sentenced to six days in jail, two years of probation, and a $1,500 fine after pleading no contest to three counts of reckless endangerment stemming from an incident where he threw a chair from the rooftop of Eric Church's bar in Nashville. The chair narrowly missed two police officers, leading to his arrest in April. Wallen's attorney stated that the singer is prepared to accept responsibility for his actions. Additionally, Wallen must perform 50 hours of community service and is prohibited from consuming alcohol during his probation period. This legal trouble comes amidst a successful period in Wallen's career, highlighted by his album "One Thing at a Time" which topped the Billboard 200 chart for 19 weeks.
