Comedian Russell Brand has been fined a total of £1,262 after being caught speeding twice in his Mini car. The incidents occurred on the A40 in West London, where he was first caught driving at 46mph in a 40mph zone on July 13, 2022, and then again on December 2, 2022, at 57mph in a 50mph zone. In addition to the fines, Brand received six penalty points on his driving license, was ordered to pay £1,122 in costs, and a £504 victim surcharge. He did not attend the court hearing at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court, where the case was processed in his absence.
