Teens spend over 1 hour on phones during school hours, new study finds

The study also noted that while some of this time is spent on educational activities, a considerable amount is dedicated to social media, gaming, and other non-academic pursuits. Experts suggest that while technology can be beneficial, the excessive screen time might contribute to issues like sleep deprivation, anxiety, and reduced physical activity among teens.
