CBS has decided to revert changes made to its "CBS Evening News" format just weeks after its launch, following a backlash from viewers and internal criticism. The revamp, which included anchor Norah O'Donnell broadcasting from a new studio in Washington, D.C., and a shift towards more digital and streaming content, was intended to modernize the broadcast. However, the changes led to a significant drop in viewership and dissatisfaction among staff. Sources indicate that network president Wendy McMahon is now under scrutiny, with her leadership decisions being questioned.
