  • ITV and BBC Sport have agreed a deal for live coverage of the FIFA World Cup 26 and FIFA World Cup 2030 across TV, audio and digital platforms.

ITV and the BBC have secured a joint broadcasting deal for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and 2030, ensuring that all matches from both tournaments will be available free-to-air in the UK. This agreement marks a continuation of their long-standing partnership, having previously co-broadcast the 2010, 2014, and 2018 World Cups. The 2026 tournament, hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico, will feature an expanded format with 48 teams, resulting in 104 matches. The 2030 World Cup's host countries are yet to be decided. This deal underscores the commitment of both broadcasters to deliver comprehensive coverage of one of the world's premier sporting events to UK audiences.
