Maple School Set To Present 'Beauty And The Beast, Jr.' In Northbrook

The Maple School in Northbrook is preparing to present "Beauty and the Beast Jr.," a youth production of the classic Disney tale, with performances scheduled for November 17 and 18, 2023. This event marks the school's first musical since the onset of the global health crisis, showcasing the talents of students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The production involves around 60 students, with 25 in the cast and others contributing to the technical aspects like lighting and sound. The show is directed by the school's music teacher, Emily Jones, who has been instrumental in bringing this production to life. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children, with all proceeds going towards supporting the school's arts programs.
