'Extraordinary conflict of interest': Warren asks for SEC records of Trump Media's investment products

In a letter to the Architect of the Capitol, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Pramila Jayapal raised concerns about a potential conflict of interest involving Caren Turner, a member of the Capitol Police Board, who also serves on the board of Raytheon Technologies, a major defense contractor. The lawmakers pointed out that Turner's position at Raytheon could influence decisions related to security contracts and the use of force by the Capitol Police, especially given Raytheon's significant business interests in defense and security. They requested information on how such conflicts are managed and whether Turner should recuse herself from certain decisions.
