(Reuters) -McDonald's has settled a $10 billion lawsuit by the media entrepreneur Byron Allen challenging the fast-food chain's alleged refusal to advertise with Black-owned media. Friday's settlement between McDonald's and two of Allen's companies, Entertainment Studios Networks and the Weather Group, averts a scheduled July 15 trial in Los Angeles federal court. Marvin Neil and Kevin Weisberg have launched a new production company called Other Side Of The River Productions, aimed at creating content that reflects diverse perspectives and fosters inclusivity. The company's first project is a feature film titled "The Other Side Of The River," which tells the story of a young man's journey to find his place in the world. Neil and Weisberg, who have worked together on various projects in the past, are excited to bring their vision to life and make a positive impact on the entertainment industry.
