  • EXCLUSIVE: Following his scene stealing role as the antagonist of this past season of HBO's Industry, Kit Harington looks to have found another fun role to play as sources tell Deadline the Emmy-nominated actor is set to join Mark Wahlberg in Apple Original Films sequel to its hit action comedy The Family Plan.

Kit Harington, known for his role in "Game of Thrones," has joined the cast of "The Family Plan" sequel, an action comedy film featuring Mark Wahlberg. The original movie, which premiered on Apple TV+ in December 2023, follows Wahlberg's character, a former assassin turned family man, whose past catches up with him during a family road trip. The sequel, produced by Apple Studios and Skydance Media, will see Harington taking on a significant role, although details about his character are currently under wraps. The film is set to expand on the comedic and action-packed elements that made the first installment popular, with Wahlberg returning to both star and produce. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger from Skydance are also returning as producers, with the script penned by David Coggeshall.
