Tata Communications reported a 12% rise in third-quarter profit on January 22, 2025, driven by strong demand for its data services. The company's consolidated net profit was 3.98 billion rupees ($47.8 million), up from 3.55 billion rupees the previous year. This growth was supported by a 16% increase in data revenue, which now constitutes 85% of its total revenue, highlighting a shift towards digital solutions and connectivity services. Despite this, the company faced challenges with a 14% drop in its traditional voice services segment. Additionally, Tata Communications is focusing on expanding its digital portfolio, including cloud and cybersecurity services, to cater to the evolving needs of enterprises globally.
