Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni get March 2026 trial date for 'It Ends With Us' case
- On Jan. 27, Judge Lewis J. Liman confirmed that Lively v. Wayfarer Studios LLC et al. will address both of the stars' lawsuits in a trial set for March 9, 2026 in New York.
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are set to star in and produce a film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel "It Ends With Us." The story follows Lily Bloom, a young woman who moves to Boston to start her own business, where she meets and falls in love with Ryle Kincaid, a neurosurgeon. However, as their relationship progresses, Lily begins to see signs of troubling behavior in Ryle, reminiscent of her own parents' tumultuous relationship. The narrative delves into themes of love, abuse, and resilience, with Lily's past love, Atlas Corrigan, re-entering her life, complicating her emotions further. The film aims to capture the emotional depth and complexity of Hoover's novel, with Lively and Baldoni bringing their acting and producing talents to the project.
