India is on track to become one of the top five global entertainment destinations by 2030, driven by its rapidly growing media and entertainment industry, which is expected to reach $73.6 billion by that year. According to a report by EY and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the sector's growth is fueled by increasing digital consumption, a young demographic, and rising disposable incomes. The report highlights the significant contributions of various segments, including film, television, digital media, and gaming, with digital media expected to be the fastest-growing segment. Additionally, India's rich cultural heritage and diverse content offerings are seen as key attractions for both domestic and international audiences, positioning the country as a major player in the global entertainment landscape.
