A judge lowered bond for the woman accused of a shooting inside a Main Event entertainment complex in February.
On April 10, 2023, a judge in Douglas County, Colorado, lowered the bond for 20-year-old Kimberly Diez, who is accused of shooting a man at the Main Event entertainment center in Highlands Ranch on December 24, 2022. Diez's bond was reduced from $250,000 to $100,000 after her defense attorney argued that she had no prior criminal history and was not a flight risk. The shooting occurred during an argument between Diez and the victim, resulting in the man being shot in the leg. Diez faces charges of first-degree assault and felony menacing, and her next court appearance is scheduled for May 10, 2023.
