Vice Media hired NBCU veteran Adam Stotsky as CEO and said Bruce Dixon, who had served as CEO and co-CEO since February 2023, will leave the company.
Vice Media has appointed Adam Stosky, a former NBCUniversal executive, as its new CEO, succeeding Bruce Dixon who has left the company. Stosky, who most recently served as president of global advertising and partnerships at NBCUniversal, will now lead Vice Media as it navigates through a period of financial restructuring and potential sale. This leadership change comes as Vice Media faces challenges, including a significant debt load and the need to adapt to a rapidly evolving media landscape. The company, once valued at $5.7 billion, is currently in the process of being sold, with a group of its lenders, including Fortress Investment Group, Soros Fund Management, and Monroe Capital, having submitted a $225 million bid to acquire it.
