  • Prince David Osei, actor and staunch NPP supporter, has cleared the air on the insults he allegedly spewed on President-elect John Dramani Mahama.

Prince David Osei, a Ghanaian actor, has clarified that he did not insult former President John Dramani Mahama during a phone conversation with Mahama's cousin, which was recorded and leaked. In the conversation, Osei was heard discussing his political affiliations and his support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He emphasized that his comments were taken out of context and were not intended to disrespect Mahama. Osei explained that he was merely expressing his political stance and frustration with certain political figures, not directly attacking Mahama. He also mentioned that he has a good relationship with Mahama and respects him, despite their differing political views. This clarification came after the audio sparked controversy and accusations of disrespect towards the former president.
